DAY 22- ON HOLIDAY #BlogFlash2012

22 Aug

The first year Dani met Mark on holiday she fell hard. He was tall and cute but really, really shy. Dani became fast friends with Mark’s sister Suzy and learned that their family came to Pier 66 every year too.

Equating herself to Gidget swooning over Moondoggie, Dani spent the entire vacation with butterflies in her stomach and the soul desire to kiss him. The one or two times she was lucky enough to be alone with him, Dani could tell Mark liked her, but he never got around to doing anything about it and the holiday soon ended.

The following year was different. It wasn’t long after Dani arrived and found her favorite spot on the sea wall when she soon felt a tap on her shoulder. Mark pulled her to her feet and kissed her right on the spot. Dani smiled realizing that Moondoggie Mark wasn’t going to waste any time this year and that this vacation would be the best ever!

How cute, he must’ve thought of the missed chances a lot between the two holidays!

Thanks for popping in Lisa. I’ve got to apologize for not commenting on your ongoing scary but enchanting & love story that finds loves enduring. I’ve finally gotten to catch up through PC problems and I sure am glad I did. This is spectacular, hang ’em out to dry (pardon the pun) writing!

Aww how sweet. There’s nothing like a holiday romance and the fact that a year later her dream came true was lovely! Great post, Donna 🙂
