#AprilPrompts – Day 11- Game- #NaPoWriMo #Childrens #Poem

GAME

Let's make like you're some monster
Arriving from the Sun
Let's tell her you're a zombie
Let's think of something fun

Let's say you're an alien
Come to take her away
If she doesn't fall for it
We'll tell her she can't play

Let's dress you up real frightening
Scare her through the roof, or
Tell her she was switched at birth
And that you have the proof

Now Sis just went off telling
Saying we are to blame
Oh no, Mommy is coming
Mom, it was just a game!

Thanks for popping in Carlie. I’m coming down with something and hopefully will still be able to post the next day or so, but if I come up MIA, a bug got me. Till then, popping Vitamin C like it’s candy! :0(

Such a fun little premise! And better yet, it’s not completely obvious the whole way through who they are trying to prank, so the relationship develops through to the end.

    ps. Hope you’re feeling better!
